Prior to joining OnPoint Medical Group, Sydney spent the past 6 years at Deloitte & Touche LLP within the Audit and Assurance practice, ending her tenure there as a second year Manager. During her time at Deloitte, she served various public and private clients within the renewable energy, manufacturing, consumer products, and life sciences & healthcare industries. She worked closely with various teams to plan and execute annual audits of financial statements in accordance with the applicable accounting standards, test controls over financial reporting, and evaluate complex accounting transactions. She has experience conducting audits of companies reporting under generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP) and under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Additionally, Sydney is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Colorado and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She obtained her Master of Accountancy at the University of Denver, where she also earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Finance.
